Verizon Prepaid has launched a new promo today. Customers that switch over to Verizon Prepaid will receive a $60 account credit when they port-in to plans priced $50 or higher.
$60 Account Credit Port-In Promo Details And Fine Print
This offer is scheduled to be available until January 31st, 2020 (update: the offer has been extended indefinitely with no end date specified). It is for new customers that port-in and activate on either Verizon Prepaid's $50 ($45 with autopay) plan with 16GB of data or $70 ($65 with autopay) plan with unlimited LTE data. To claim the credit, customers must maintain service for 2 months. After the customer makes their second monthly plan payment, the service credit will immediately get applied to their account. The offer is available to customers that bring their own phones and to customers that would like to purchase a phone from Verizon Prepaid. Tablets and Jetpack plans are excluded from the offer. Verizon Prepaid $50 Plan
Verizon Prepaid's $50 ($45 with autopay) plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data with the first 8GB of data each month at 4G LTE data speeds. Verizon has been running a double data for life promo with the plan for quite some time and it is still available. For an unspecified amount of time, new customers get 16GB of data for life when they subscribe to the plan. The plan also includes mobile hotspot and unlimited calling to Mexico and Canada. Video streaming is limited to a resolution of 480p on smartphones. Additional lines can be added for $30/month.
Verizon Prepaid $70 Plan
Verizon Prepaid's $70 ($65 with autopay) plan includes unlimited talk, text, and LTE data. Unlimited calling to Mexico and Canada is also included but there is no mobile hotspot. During times of network congestion data speeds may be temporarily slowed. Video streaming is limited to a resolution of 480p. Additional lines can be added for $45/month.
Customers who subscribe to the unlimited plan through select dealers such as those who use the EPAY WebPOS platform will save an additional $10/month on the price of their plan with autopay enabled. The extra discount applies to the first line only, additional lines added to an account are billed at the standard $45/month rate.
