T-Mobile has announced a new limited time promotional offer for its prepaid brand MetroPCS. New customers who port their number over can now get two months of unlimited service for free. A selection of phones from Samsung, LG, and Motorola are also being given away for free.
The Fine Print
What's a deal without fine print?
This offer certainly comes with a little bit to dissect.
To start, to get two months free, customers must choose MetroPCS's $50 unlimited LTE data plan. After subscribing to the plan for two months, and making two on time payments, MetroPCS will give customers a $100 prepaid Mastercard. Customers who elect to subscribe to MetroPCS's $60 unlimited LTE plan are also eligible to receive the $100 prepaid Mastercard under the same terms as the $50 plan.
The difference in cost between the two plans is that the $60 plan includes 10GB of hotspot data while the $50 plan does not include any hotspot data. On either plan, MetroPCS will temporarily slow down a customer's data speeds if they have consumed more than 35GB of data in a month AND the network is experiencing a lot of traffic. Once the traffic gets relieved speeds return back to normal. Both plans also limit video streaming to a resolution of 480p.
Additionally, activation of each line now requires a $10 activation fee plus any applicable taxes. MetroPCS's cell phone plan prices do at least include all taxes and fees.
Exclusions
Those who have a number already active on the T-Mobile network or have been active on MetroPCS in the past 90 days are ineligible for the $100 prepaid Mastercard offer. The offer is unavailable in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Miami-Dade.

The LG Aristo 2 and Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime include an $80 instant rebate.
Whether you are a new customer porting in, or a current customer, there is a limit of 5 discounted phones allowed per household.
Porting number adding a line or new customers are getting better deals than loyal customers who have been with metro a significant amount of time..Upgrades aren’t upgrades at all were paying more than any1 who ports starts or adds lines I think this is unfair mayb u should look into taking care of customers u already have
Is this promotion still going or ended already??
