Boost Mobile is currently running a promotion targeting T-Mobile's prepaid brand MetroPCS. Those who make the switch from MetroPCS to Boost Mobile by 5/11/18 will get 2 months of free service. Boost Mobile is calling this promotion "Switch Off MetroPCS."
Promotion Details
This offer requires that subscribers activate a $35 or $50 single line or multi-line plan on Boost Mobile. Boost Mobile's $35 plan includes unlimited everything with the first 3GB of data at high speeds. However, when the plan is purchased from Walmart, it comes with 6GB of high speed data. The $50/month plan includes unlimited talk, text and LTE data with mobile hotspot limited to 8GB.
Subscribers are required to pay for their first month of service at the time of activation. Credits for the second and third months of service will be applied to the customers account within one week of activating.
Account activation must take place by 5/25/2018.
This promotion is not compatible with Boost Dealz.
It is not clear if this offer is available directly from Boost Mobile. It is however being advertised at Walmart. According to Walmart's website, the promotion is only available at select participating national retailers. Often times, promotions like these can also be had in store only from Boost Mobile. In fact, Boost Mobile just finished running a promotion at its dealerships that offered 2 months of free service to those who brought their own device to the network with activation on the $50/month plan.

Instead u went cheap.

This was the worse decision of my life…. I switched from Metro PCS to Boost just to literally been on the 0hone or in the office ever since I have switch, their customer service is horrible, ride and liars…. They refuse to follow thru on their promotion and are nothing but am artist…. I would never recommend this company to my worse enemy…. I will be going back to Metro and it’s not worth the hell they put you thru…. I hope people read this before deciding to believe these horrible scam artist!!!…. If I could I would sit outside their store letting everyone know how horrible these people are!!!!!!
I just want to tell you that my experience with Boost mobile and this particular promotion has not been a good one at all. I was with MetroPCS and had been since November 2017. I hated my service with MetroPCS from the moment i walked through the door of one of their dealers. There was never a free phone as promised and now since i made the switch over to Boost , bought a new phone and had my number ported over from MetroPCS on this promotion i am thinking that maybe all of these companies are lying to the consumers just to get our business .
So I have called Boost rep. Every day now for several days and was told that because the promotion was at Walmart to go there . Blaming my lack of service on Walmart instead of honoring their own promo. Not a company i want to deal with. And as far as the phone that I purchased lets just say that it has been garbage since day 1 and I have sworn by the LG phones so Boost must be selling the lemons. I am extremely disappointed because I honestly thought FINALLY a company that can provide me with the data I need at a price I can afford but instead i ginormous disappointment
Yes, unfortunately a lot of these free phone offers require taxes to be paid and sometimes an activation fee, so that’s not quite free in my book either. You have not been able to get any service from Boost or just unable to get the two free months? The two free months was definitely from Walmart but *may* have also been available from dealers. Walmart also offers 2x the data on the $35 plan compared to purchasing from a Boost Dealer.
Boost mobile is like a legal front for sprint. I wrote about Sprint on consumers affairs. They are down right machvillain. And nyc especially Brooklyn are not above board,in crown heights Brooklyn on utica avenue and cricket is down from them.I would stay away from boost mobile.why the name change. Cricket is the best at&t carrier ,and t-mobile has nice service
