Sprint owned MVNO brands Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile are now offering data add on packs. The cost of the data add on packs are pretty cheap with prices of $5 and $10 for 1 GB and 2 GB of 4G LTE data respectively. Unfortunately you have to spend at least $35 (or $30 with autopay on Boost) for an eligible plan with each MVNO in order to be able to use the data add on packs. Even so, that makes for some pretty good deals when compared to the amount of data available on other Sprint MVNOs at those price points.
$35 gets you unlimited talk, text and 1 GB of LTE data on Boost Mobile, with Virgin Mobile you get unlimited talk, text and 250 MB of 4 LTE data or 300 minutes of talk with unlimited text and 2.5 GB of LTE data. If you enable autopay on Boost Mobile and you have a 4G LTE device your bill gets reduced to $30 and you'll get an extra 1 GB of data giving you 2 GB of 4G LTE data in total.
It would seem that for many of you out there this is a welcomed change for each brand.
