Earlier this year, BestMVNO reported that Xfinity launched a mobile plan plus internet bundle deal for $50/month. It included a home internet plan with download speeds of 200Mbps and a phone plan with 20GB of 5G data before throttling to a maximum of 1.5Mbps download and 750Kbps upload. Later, Xfinity advertised a $50/month bundle with pricing good for two years but with 400Mbps internet download speeds and a free mobile Unlimited Intro line as seen by this Internet Archives webpage capture on 8/4/23 (also shown below). According to the offer's fine print, it was supposed to remain in place until 9/5/23. But Xfinity has ended it early and replaced it with a new offer.

Xfinity's pricing on its new internet plus phone plan bundle offer has increased by $20/month. Customers will have to pay $70/month if they want a bundle with internet speeds of 400Mbps and the same phone plan previously described. Bundle pricing is said to be available to those who subscribe to the offer for a period of two years. After that, rates will go up.

The new bundle offer's fine print says that it's available to new residential customers only. It also requires paperless billing with automatic payments from a linked bank account. If a credit or debit card is used for autopay billing instead of a bank account, the bundle rate will increase by $5/month to $55/month. Without autopay and paperless billing enabled the price is $60/month. These are the same terms required with the previous incarnations of the bundle deal offerings. Taxes and fees cost extra.

Customers who subscribe to the bundle offer are said to receive a $10/month discount on their mobile plan for 24 months. Discounts will be applied to the internet bill statement within 30 days of activation of an Xfinity Mobile line. After 24 months or if a customer switches to a lower-tiered internet plan, customers can expect bundle pricing to go up by a minimum of $10/month, equal to the discounted mobile line price. Xfinity's terms and conditions of this offer also refer to the $10/month mobile discount as a multi-product discount.

No timeframe has been given for how long this latest bundle offer will last. But it is now more expensive than starting bundle offers from fellow cable companies including Charter Communications which still has a Spectrum Internet and Phone plan bundle at the $50/month price point. Cox Communications also just launched a bundle at that same $50/month price point. All three providers offer wireless services as Verizon MVNOs.
