What Is A Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account And How Long Will It Last?
A Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account is an online only account. It can only be used online OR for phone or mail orders wherever Debit Mastercard is accepted. Visible says the card should not be used to make hotel or car rental reservations.
The Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account will be valid for up to 12 months. That means if you don't use up all the funds within that time frame, you will forfeit and lose them.
More About Visible
Visible is a prepaid wireless provider that is owned by Verizon but operates independently from it. The service was launched in May of 2018 and initially was only available to iPhone users. In January of 2019, the service expanded to offer support for select Android devices.
Visible only offers one phone plan. It is priced at $40/month for unlimited talk, text, and data. Data speeds are limited to 5 Mbps. Mobile hotspot is supported and unlimited as well. Taxes and fees are included in the price.
Only 1 antenna here, serving ATT & VZW customers only. Others are over 5 miles away. We get 2 to 19 Mbps. Visible says 5 Mbps is unlimited? Limited is is, too limited for me. Our only internet, email, video & phone is thru VZW & ATT, no other options here. 5Mbps, no way.
5Mbps was the data speed cap. There is no longer a data speed cap except for hotspot. Data itself has always been unlimited.
I have had the service for 2 months now and am quite happy with the service when at home ( southeastern Pennsylvania). Have no signal at all when I travel to my son’s house in the next county .
The phone and email non issue but when in areas of heavy usage “YOU WILL BE DEPRIORITIZE” even though they say your line is not. I trust Ookla speed test and according to them, my speeds are alot slower in those areas at different times of the day. “FACT”.
I used visible for two months in upstate NY. Their service sucks, heavily deprioritization in busy areas and during rush hour, service often unusable, LTE speed often down to 2g speed 0.1Mbps. I went back to att prepaid.
Anyone using this service and is the service good?
