How do you make Verizon Prepaid's double data offer even better?  You give new subscribers a $45 account credit when they activate on a Verizon Prepaid plan priced $50 or higher and/or a free Moto E4 for activating on a plan priced $40 or higher.  That's the deal going on right available exclusively through select Verizon Prepaid dealers.

Verizon Prepaid $45 Free Credit And Free Moto E4 Offer Fine Print

$45 Account Credit Details

This $45 credit is available for a limited time.  It is available to customers activating a new line of service, and customers that port-in.  According to a dealer I spoke with, the offer can be found exclusively through Verizon Prepaid dealers that use either the EPAY WebPOS platform or the VIDAPAY platform.  It's possible the offer is also available through other independent Verizon Prepaid dealers, but I have not been able to verify that.  It is not available directly through Verizon Wireless at this time.

To claim the account credit, customers must subscribe to a plan priced $50 or higher.  Eligible plans include the following:

  • $50/month ($45 with autopay) - includes 16GB of 4G LTE data for life plus mobile hotspot, without double data offer the plan regularly includes 8GB of data.
  • $60/month ($55 with autopay) - unlimited 4G LTE data, no mobile hotspot.

Both plans include unlimited talk and text, and unlimited calling to Mexico and Canada and unlimited international texting to over 200 countries.  Video streams at a resolution of 480p.  Customers that go over the 16GB data allotment on the $50 plan will have their data speeds throttled to 2G for the remainder of their billing cycle.  Customers on the unlimited LTE data plan may have their speeds temporarily slowed down anytime the network gets congested.  The unlimited plan is regularly priced at $70/month ($65 with autopay) but is available for $60/month ($55 with autopay) through the previously mentioned Verizon Prepaid dealers.  Taxes and fees are extra.

I believe the account credit gets issued after the first month of service, but that is just my best guess, I have not yet been able to verify that through a dealer.

Free Moto E4 Offer Details

The free Moto E4 is available through a limited number of dealers using the software platforms already described.  Not all dealers using those platforms will have the Moto E4 for free.  It's up to the individual dealer to decide if they want to offer it or not.  This offer is scheduled to be available at least until 11/26 or while supplies last.  Customers must subscribe to a plan priced $40 or higher to get it.  Verizon Prepaid's $40 plan with the double data for life allotment is described below.

  • $40/month ($35 with autopay) - includes unlimited talk, text, and data with the first 6GB of data each month at 4G LTE data speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds.  The plan also includes mobile hotspot.

I don't know how long the double data for life offer will remain in place or how long the $45 account credit will be available for.  Last I heard, the double data for life offer had been scheduled to end this month (October).  It's possible the offer will be or already has been extended.
