VIDAPAY and ePay are online software platforms that provide prepaid wireless dealers with an all-in-one solution for activating SIM cards and managing their prepaid wireless accounts. Those using the VIDAPAY platform have in the past been privy to exclusive deals on Verizon prepaid. Twice last year Verizon launched double data for life promos solely through dealers using the VIDAPAY platform. Now select dealers that use either that platform or the ePay platform will have exclusive access to a new or at least lower priced plan from Verizon prepaid, "Prepaid Unlimited." Prepaid Unlimited Plan Details And Where To Buy It
The new plan will cost $60/month or $55/month with an autopay discount applied. Taxes and fees cost extra. That's a savings of $10/month over the prepaid unlimited plan that Verizon currently sells directly on its own website. Update: 1/30/19: I've been informed that additional lines are priced at $45/month with auto-pay billing enabled. So customers can get two unlimited lines on Verizon Prepaid for $100/month. Update: 3/18/2020 - this plan has been updated and it is now available exclusively from dealers for $50/month.
Like all unlimited data plans on the market, there is a data prioritization policy in place. This particular plan has always-on data prioritization. That means during times of heavy network traffic, data speeds may be temporarily slowed down until network congestion gets relieved. Furthermore, video streaming is limited to a maximum resolution of 480p.
The new prepaid unlimited plan will only be available at participating VIDAPAY and ePay dealer locations. You can find a VIDAPAY dealer in your area through a page that has been set up on the VIDAPAY website.
Double Data For Life
Verizon's double data for life promo continues to run exclusively through VIDAPAY dealers. The promo is expected to last at least until Friday, February 15th, 2019. Its proposed end date has been extended several times in the past.
With double data for life, Verizon prepaid customers that go through a VIDAPAY dealer are eligible for the following plans with double data:
- $30 - 1GB, normally has 500MB
- $40, $35 with autopay - 6GB, normally has 3GB
- $50, $45 with autopay - 16GB, normally has 8GB
All double data plans include unlimited talk, text and data with the specified amount of data at 4G LTE data speeds. Mobile hotspot is also included. Customers on the $50 plan also get unlimited talk to Mexico and Canada. All Verizon prepaid plans include free international texting to over 200 countries.
