Subscribers who signed up for a prepaid plan through a participating dealer got double data for life. Locating a dealer at that time proved to be a difficult task. Later, Verizon went on to directly offer the deal to its customers. That promotion was short lived.
Today, BestMVNO has learned from VIDAPAY that the promotion is back. Once again customers can get double data for life from participating dealers that use the VIDAPAY platform. Unlike with the last promotion, finding a dealer is easy this time. VIDAPAY now has a store locator feature.
Double Data For Life Plans And Pricing
The double data for life promo is available for single lines and family plans. Pricing and plan details are as follows:
- $30/month - 1GB of data, normally includes 0.5GB
- $40/month ($30 for lines 2-5) - 6GB of data, normally includes 3GB
- $50/month ($35 for lines 2-5)- 14GB of data, normally includes 7GB
- $60/month ($40 for lines 2-5) - 20GB of data, normally includes 10GB. Also includes unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada.
All plans include unlimited talk, text and data with the specified amount of data at 4G LTE data speeds. All of Verizon's Prepaid plans also include unlimited international texting to over 200 countries, mobile hotspot, and data carryover. Data only carries over for one billing cycle, and subscribers must make on time payments or have autopay billing enabled on their accounts to get it. Video streaming is limited to a maximum resolution of 480p, and during times of heavy network traffic, data speeds will be slower than Verizon's postpaid customers. Taxes and fees cost extra.
If you signup for a plan now, you'll get double data for as long as you remain subscribed to that plan. No word as to how long this limited time promotion will last.
