Tello Mobile has just launched a flash sale. The prepaid provider is offering new customers and new lines 50% off for their first month of service. That means you can get a 30-day plan with 5GB of high-speed data to try out for $9.50 before the plan goes back to its regular rate of $19/month. Like all Tello plans it comes with unlimited talk and text with data speeds reduced to the equivalent of 2G or 64-128Kbps after the high-speed allotment gets used up. Mobile hotspot is allowed and all plan data can be used for hotspot. Every Tello plan with voice also includes calling to over 60 countries at no extra charge.
Tello allows subscribers to custom-build their own plans. You can have a plan with data and no voice or a plan with voice and no data if you'd like. A few popular plan options with unlimited talk and text that are compatible with the 50% off promo include the following:
- 1GB - $5 first month, $10 thereafter
- 2GB - $7 first month, $14 thereafter
- 10GB - $12 first month, $24 thereafter
- 25GB - $14.5 first month, $29 thereafter
The limited-time promotional offering is scheduled to be available at least until March 20, 2023.
