Mint Mobile has brought back its buy 3 months get 3 months free offer. The last time the offer was made available was in November of 2020 to celebrate the holiday season. This time, the deal has been sweetened and customers who take advantage of the offer will get a free copy of the Ryan Reynolds film Free Guy. The buy 3 get 3 offer appears to be a Best Buy exclusive. However, the free movie offer is available at both Best Buy and Target.
Mint Mobile Buy 3 Get 3 Offer Details
Best Buy has a terms and conditions web page set up that describes the offer. According to the terms, it is a limited-time offer that is available from 10/10/21 until 1/7/22. It is available to new Mint Mobile customers only who purchase any 3-month starter plan from Best Buy either online or in-store. New customers are defined as those who have a phone whose IMEI number has not been associated with any Mint Mobile plan within the past 90 days.
Qualifying customers who purchase a 3-month starter plan will then receive 6-months of service for their money. Plan activations must take place by 1/7/22 for in-store purchases. Customers purchasing a plan online must activate it within 45 days of purchase. There is a limit of three BOGO offers allowed per customer. What's particularly important to note is that the plans will automatically renew as 6-month plans, not as 3-month plans. It's possible that this offer will later make its way to be available through the Mint Mobile website as well as Target. Mint Mobile does regularly offer end-of-the-year holiday promos through its website but has not yet launched any for this season.
In addition to the BOGO offer, customers can also get a free 4K UHD Blu Ray with digital copy or DVD copy of the movie Free Guy with their online purchases. This portion of the deal is available at both Target and Best Buy. Free Guy stars Ryan Reynolds who happens to be a co-owner of Mint Mobile.
Mint Mobile Available BOGO Plans
The following Mint Mobile starter plans for new customers are available with the BOGO offer:
- $45 total - 4GB monthly high-speed data, works out to average cost of $7.5/month
- $60 total - 10GB monthly high-speed data, works out to average cost of $10/month
- $75 total - 15GB monthly high-speed data, works out to average cost of $12.50/month
- $90 total - 35GB of monthly high-speed data, works out to average cost of $15/month
All Mint Mobile plans include unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data available at high speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds. The plans also include unlimited calling to Mexico and Canada. All plans allow for mobile hotspot to be used to the plan's full-speed data allotment except for the 35GB plan. Hotspot on the 35GB plan is limited to 5GB.
Mint Mobile is a T-Mobile MVNO, and its subscribers have access to T-Mobile's 5G network.
