H2O Wireless is currently running a 50% off sale plus giving away bonus data on select plans. The top deal for data hungry users is $20 for the first month of service with unlimited data and the first 8GB at high speeds. The plan also includes unlimited talk and text domestically and to over 50 countries. It is regularly priced at $40/month. One H2O Wireless subscriber also says that the $30 plan will soon include 3GB of data up from its current allotment of 2GB.
H2O Wireless Promotional Offers Explained
H2O Wireless's four promotional plan offers are described below. All plans include unlimited talk, text and data with the specified amounts of data at high speed. All plans also include unlimited talk and text to over 50 countries.
- $10 - 1GB of data plus a $10 international talk credit. After the first month the plan reverts to its regular price of $20 and its regular data allotment of 500MB.
- $15 - 4GB of data plus a $10 international talk credit. After the first month the plan reverts to its regular price of $30. After 3 months it reverts back to its regular data allotment of 2GB. However, one H2O Wireless subscriber posted on HowardForums today that they received a text message from the company stating that on October 1st, the plan will get a data increase to 3GB.
- $17.50 - 5GB of data plus a $10 international talk credit. After the first month the plan reverts to its regular price of $35 and its regular data allotment of 3GB. However, if the $30 plan is in fact getting a data bump next week, this plan should as well.
- $20 - 8GB of data plus a $20 international talk credit. After the first month the plan reverts to its regular price of $40 and its regular data allotment of 6GB.
- $25 - 8GB of data plus a $20 international talk credit. After the first month the plan reverts to its regular price of $50.
- $30 - 10GB of data plus a $20 international talk credit. After the first month the plan reverts to its regular price of $60.
Taxes and fees are not included in the prices shown and do cost extra. H2O Wireless plans do come with a few limitations. One is that download speeds are capped at a maximum of 8Mbps. There are no limitations on upload speeds. Video streaming is also capped at a maximum resolution of 480p. If you have an iPhone MMS picture messaging won't work without a jailbreak likely due to limitations put in place by Apple. H2O Wireless is just one of two known brands that operate on AT&T with a download speed limitation in place. The other is Cricket Wireless which is a prepaid brand owned by AT&T.
