A couple of Mint Mobile phone plans are on sale today only at Best Buy. Mint's basic plan 3-month starter kit for new customers is just $25 instead of its regular price of $45. That works out to an average cost of $8.33/month as opposed to the regular rate of $15/month. The plan includes unlimited everything with the first 4GB of data available each month at up to 5G data speeds. Best Buy says this is their lowest price ever for the plan. Although more likely, it matches their lowest price ever. The retail giant periodically offers Mint Mobile plans at a discount.

The other plan on sale at Best Buy is Mint Mobile's 6-month starter plan with 10GB of monthly high-speed data. It's on sale for $127.99 or $21.33/month instead of its regular price of $150 or $25/month. Best Buy claims this to be the lowest price of the year thus far for the plan.

Both plans of course include unlimited talk and text, and all the monthly data can be used for mobile hotspot. Free international calling to Mexico and Canada are also plan features.

Mint Mobile is a fairly popular MVNO that uses the T-Mobile network for coverage. The company is known for using creative and sometimes provactive marketing tactics to help make the brand more of a household name. Is the Mint Fox in the featured image above giving us the finger?

In late 2019, actor Ryan Reynolds took an ownership stake in the brand. Since then he's been featured in a lot of Mint Mobile commercials and online video ads. He's also used his celebrity status and connections to get other celebrities on board to help with marketing the brand.

Earlier this month, Mint Mobile launched a one day sale of what was supposed to be nothing more than a marketing ploy, a phone plan that lasts 25 years and cost $2500. The plan was called the Bobby Bonilla plan in honor of the retired baseball star once signing a contract that would pay him more than $1 million annually every July 1st. Bonilla was then featured in a few online video ads highlighting the offer. Mint Mobile ended up selling 124 of those plans.
