Cricket also seems ready to dial up its 5G marketing. For the first time on Cricket's deals webpage, there is a separate tab for 5G deals. The featured 5G deal is for an LG k92 5G for $99. There are some pretty hot offers available here for both new and existing customers. I like seeing that Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G marked down to $399.99. The device has begun to show up at many prepaid carriers, but Cricket currently has by far the best deal on it. The $99 LG K92 5G makes 5G accessible on Cricket at a much more widely affordable price point.
A few weeks ago it was reported that the LG K92 5G has had a lot of problems. But according to a YouTube live stream this morning from Lady Red's Tech Reviews, a lot of those problems have been fixed. She advised current customers still having issues to look into getting a warranty replacement on the device. The stream also talked about Cricket shutting off 3G devices, so the deals offered today could be a good path to upgrading your older 3G phones.
