Consumer Cellular has launched a new promo. Current customers that add a line of service will receive a $25 account credit for each line added. New Consumer Cellular subscribers are also eligible for the offer.
Offer Fine Print
As with all Consumer Cellular deals, there really isn't a whole lot of fine print here. What you see is what you get. The promo is scheduled to be available until 9/30/21. The offer extends out to tablet and "home phone base" lines. Consumer Cellular sells a tablet regularly priced at $250 and it is aimed at seniors. An unlimited data GrandPad tablet line costs $40/month. The "home phone base," priced at $50, is an offering from Consumer Cellular that allows you to turn and essentially convert your landline into a new line on your cellphone plan. A subscription costs $15/month.
The $25 account credit will be applied to the customer's first invoice following activation for each new line of service added. Credits will be applied on the first invoice following activation for lines that remain in service at the end of the billing period.

This past spring, Consumer Cellular also offered $25 account credits to new lines of service.
Consumer Cellular primarily operates as an AT&T MVNO. Although they don't necessarily offer the cheapest pricing, the brand regularly wins awards from J.D. Power for customer service. They like to brag about it in blog posts having just won the award for the 11th time in a row. Consumer Cellular regularly airs TV ads that also highlight its awards such as this one that's currently airing and also shown below.
