Virgin Mobile Offering 3 Months Free Service and a New Voice and Text Only Plan

Sprint owned MVNO Virgin Mobile is offering 3 months of free service to new customers who purchase select Samsung phones through June 24, 2014.  Included in the deal are the Galaxy s5 for $599, or $494 if you subtract the $105 credit you'll receive. You can't find a better deal on an S5 anywhere.  Also available as part of this promotion is the older Galaxy s3 for $249.  Bear in mind though, Virgin Mobile lacks Sprint's roaming partner agreements so you'll find coverage a bit more restricted with this service.  If you live in a good Sprint coverage area though you'll get great 4g LTE coverage at a hard to beat price.
For a limited time Virgin Mobile is also offering a "Wi-fi Lovers Delight Plan" which will get you unlimited talk and text for $25 a month but with no included data.  If this is something you are interested in you may be better off taking a look at Republic Wireless's competing $10 a month plan which also includes unlimited talk and text but no data.  The only downside is that you'll be limited to the Motorola Moto X and Moto G as smartphone choices.
