It seems like devices of yesteryear, mainly the iPhone 6, 6S and SE are once again being promoted as hot deals this holiday season. Metro is giving away the iPhone 6s and SE for free to new customers. Boost Mobile has the iPhone 6 for $29.99, while AT&T Prepaid has the iPhone 6 for $99. Now it appears you'll be able to get the iPhone 6 for $99 or the SE for $75 through select Verizon Prepaid dealers such as Pioneer Wireless.
To get either iPhone offer you'll have to activate on a Verizon Prepaid wireless plan priced $40 or higher. Without activation on a qualifying plan, the iPhone 6 is priced at $349 and the SE at $299.00. This offer is valid until 12/31/2018 or while supplies last.
Qualifying Plans And Double Data For Life

- $40/month ($35 with auto pay billing enabled) - 6GB of 4G LTE data. Additional lines priced at $25/month with auto pay discount applied.
- $50/month ($45 with auto pay) - 16GB of 4G LTE data, includes unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada. Additional lines priced at $30/month with auto pay discount applied.
Both plans include unlimited talk, text and data with the specified amount of data at 4G LTE data speeds before throttling to 2G. They also come with mobile hotspot and unlimited texting to over 200 countries. Video streaming is limited to a maximum resolution of 480p. Taxes and fees are not included in the prices shown and in my area add about $4 to the cost of the plans.
There is one other plan that can be subscribed to if you want the special pricing on either iPhone and that is for an unlimited LTE data plan. The unlimited LTE data plan is priced at $70/month or $65 with auto pay billing enabled. It includes unlimited talk and text both domestically and to Mexico and Canada. This plan does not include any mobile hotspot data. It also has always on data deprioritization. That means any time the network gets congested with traffic, you may experience slower data speeds until traffic on the network gets reduced.
