For a limited time, Total Wireless is offering 5,000 rewards points to subscribers that refer a friend. Both the current subscriber and the referred party will get the rewards points. Points earned through the referral program will not immediately be available for use. It will take 60 days before they can be applied towards a wireless plan. Total Wireless is advertising the offer as "get a free service plan when you refer a friend." The 5,000 rewards points can be used to get up to a $50 plan for free.
The rewards points can only be applied to a wireless plan when you have accumulated enough points to get that plan for free. The points don't actually have cash value, and they cannot be transferred to another customer.

- 3,500 points- unlimited talk and text with 5GB of 4G LTE data. New customers that port from a non-TracFone related brand get 7.5GB of data. Plan costs $35/month or $33.20 with auto-refill. Customers can earn 35 reward points/month for subscribing to the plan and paying for it with a credit card.
- 5,000 points - unlimited talk and text with 25GB of 4G LTE data. Plan costs $50/month or $47.50 with auto-refill. Customers can earn 50 reward points/month for subscribing to the plan and paying for it with a credit card.
- 9,000 points - 3 months of service includes unlimited talk and text and 5GB of data each month. One month of service is equal to 30 days. Plan costs $90 every 90 days.
Shared/Family Plans
- Up to 2 lines - 15GB shared data costs 6,000 points or $60 or $57 with auto-refill. New customers porting from anywhere other than a TracFone related brand get 22.5GB of data. Customers can earn 60 reward points/month for subscribing to the plan and paying for it with a credit card.
- Up to 3 lines - 20GB shared data for 8,500 points or $85/month or $80.70 with auto-refill. New customers porting from anywhere other than a TracFone related brand get 30GB of 4G LTE data. Customers can earn 85 reward points/month for subscribing to the plan and paying for it with a credit card.
- Up to 4 lines - 25GB shared data for 10,000 points or $100/month or $95.00 with auto-refill. New customers porting from anywhere other than a TracFone related brand get 37.5GB of 4G LTE data. Customers can earn 100 reward points/month for subscribing to the plan and paying for it with a credit card.

Service Add-Ons
- 5GB of shared 4G LTE data - 1,000 points or $10.00. Does not expire with active service. Customers can earn 10 points for purchasing the add-on with a credit card.
- Global calling - 1,000 points or $10.00. Balance carries over to the next month of service. International calling rates start at 1¢/minute. Customers can earn 10 points for purchasing the add-on with a credit card.
