Total by Verizon has brought what had been exclusively in-store-only offers online. Customers who shop totalbyverizon.com can now get 4-unlimited high-speed data lines for $100, a $40 BYOD unlimited plan, and several free phone deals. Here are all the new online offers.
Unlimited Plan Deals
- Four lines with unlimited talk, text, and data for $100 per month, a savings of $100.
- Two lines with unlimited talk, text, and data for $75 per month, a savings of $25.
- One line unlimited plan with Bring Your Own Device for $40, a savings of $10.
The unlimited plan deals are all based on Total by Verizon's entry unlimited plan which is priced at $50/month for a single line. Aside from unlimited data it also includes unlimited talk and text to five countries of the customer's choosing, 10GB of hotspot, and a 6 months subscription to Disney+. It includes access to Verizon's Nationwide 5G network but not Ultra-Wideband.
Free Device Offers
In addition to the above-mentioned plans, customers can get free 5G devices with any $50 or $60 unlimited plan. The available free phones include:
- Samsung Models: Samsung Galaxy A03s, Samsung A13 5G.
- Motorola Models: Motorola Moto G Pure, Motorola Moto G Power, Motorola Moto G 5G, Motorola Moto G Stylus.
Some deals, such as 4 lines for $100 and a $40 BYOD unlimited plan, have been offered in Total by Verizon stores for a few months. The move to make these offers available online is new and expands their reach. Total by Verizon stores are still only located in limited markets, however, the store count has been growing rapidly over the year. One hundred stores are scheduled to be opened this year in the Los Angeles area alone.
Total by Verizon's 4 unlimited lines for $100 offer is being supported by a new TV ad. According to iSpot, a TV ad was launched on 8/7/23. The ad exclaims that "Total by Verizon is wireless that goes all in." It also highlights the free Samsung Galaxy A13 5G offer. You can check out the ad below. "All in" appears to be part of a new tagline from Total by Verizon as it's not only featured in the new TV ad but also on their website.
More Competition In The Prepaid Market
Total by Verizon's 4 unlimited lines for $100 offer is in line with similar deals from other carrier-owned prepaid brands. Metro by T-Mobile has long offered 4 unlimited lines for $100 and has run TV ads to promote it. Cricket also offers 4 unlimited lines for $100 and that deal is now featured on Cricket's homepage.
Verizon's other prepaid brands have also recently modified their multi-line offerings.
Straight Talk, for instance, recently launched 4 unlimited lines for $100 as well. There are new TV and radio ad campaigns highlighting that offer as well as Straight Talk's new multi-line discounts in general. Jim Gaffigan was recently hired to be Straight Talk's spokesperson and is now featured in at least one TV ad pitching 4 lines for $100. And Visible by Verizon recently lowered the price of its base unlimited plan from $30 to $25 allowing customers to once again get 4 unlimited lines for $100.
