Tello Mobile just reached a milestone celebrating 5-years in business. The company was founded in 2015 and officially launched wireless service in 2016. As part of the milestone, the MVNO has launched a couple of promotions. There's a buy one month get one month free offer and an offer of $50 off select phones.
BOGO Offer Details
The buy one month get one month free offer is valid on any Tello Mobile plan. It is for new customers and current customers who add a line of service. The promo is scheduled to be available until 5/31/2021. Customers who elect to take advantage of this offer will get their SIM cards for free and Tello is also advertising free shipping. Subscribers must stay on the same plan for their second month of service to get it free. Tello will automatically apply the free month discount to the subscriber's account.
Tello allows its customers to custom build their own phone plans. Data only plans are also an option. Some of the more popular plan combinations available include the following options:

- $19/month - 4GB high-speed data
- $12/month - 6GB high-speed data
- $29/month - 8GB high-speed data

The plans highlighted above all include unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data available at high-speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds. Unlimited calling to Canada, Mexico, China, and Romania is also included. Mobile hotspot can be used with each plan combination up to each plan's full data allotment. Taxes and fees do cost extra.
