RingPlus grew by over 1820% just last month, and now the company is set to surpass 100,000 subscribers. To celebrate, the Sprint MVNO is adding free international calling to its VoIP service (FluidCall), additionally, the company is running a giveaway program where subscribers can win up to $30,000 every month.
International Calling
The new international calling VoIP service will work with nearly any phone and will be open to everyone from all carriers not just RingPlus subscribers.
For Non RingPlus Subscribers
A RingPlus account will be required to use the service and a VoIP SIP client must be installed on your phone as well. With both criteria met, you'll be able to make unlimited in network RingPlus to RingPlus calls and you'll get 50 minutes per month to use for domestic or international calls.
For RingPlus Subscribers
If you are already a RingPlus subscriber you'll still need a VoIP SIP client for international calling, but unlike non members, you'll get an additional 500 international and domestic minutes to use each month.
In both cases, a one time auto top up fee of $4.99 is required at signup to cover the cost of any overages you may incur which are priced at 5¢ per minute and per text. If your account balance at any time reaches $0 an additional $4.99 will automatically be charged to your credit card.
The Right Carrier $30,000 Sweepstakes
The RingPlus Right Carrier Sweepstakes allows both RingPlus subscribers and non subscribers to win up to $1,000/day or $30,000 per month in cash. A winner will be selected at random and then called by the MVNO with notification of their winnings.
The sweepstakes is running now and will last until December 31st, 2016 at 11 PM PST.
To be eligible for the sweepstakes, one of the following criteria must be met:
- You must have a current, active cell phone on RingPlus
- You must have a VoIP app installed with a RingPlus phone number
- If you are not a RingPlus customer you can still register your phone number at https://promos.ringplus.net/the-right-carrier.html
In all cases, you must answer the call from RingPlus to win. If the call goes to voicemail or you hang up, you will forfeit your prize. Each day that a prize is not claimed an additional $1,000 will be added to the next days prize for a total of up to $30,000.
Unfortunately, the sweepstakes is void in the following locations: Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, New York, Rhode Island, Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and commonwealths, and outside the United States.
