SpeedTalk Mobile is a T-Mobile and Verizon MVNO that has only been in existence for a very short while as far as I know. Today I received an email from RingPlus about a promotion that SpeedTalk is about to launch. The promotion looks eerily similar to what a lot of RingPlus promotions have looked like, which makes me wonder, has the RingPlus team transitioned to, or are they involved with SpeedTalk Mobile in some way? Or does SpeedTalk just like the RingPlus business model? Perhaps they are just using the RingPlus forums to promote their business. I'll get to the bottom of this ASAP.
Updated: According to moderators in the RingPlus forums, RingPlus is not involved with SpeedTalk but is providing the means by which SpeedTalk can promote their phone plans.
For now, here are those promotions from SpeedTalk Mobile.

Not a fan of sizable auto-top-ups that RingPlus has infected TPO and SpeedTalk with for plans offered at RingPlus. Especially since a few of the plans at both companies would easily auto-top every 30 days. At least one of them wasn’t allowing you pre-top-up which is my preferred method since I know when I have money in my account to cover a $19.99 + taxes/fees which usually run around another $4 – 5 depending on company and I would much rather top-up at my convenience if a company is using a 30-day plan. If they are using a true monthly plan (i.e., you pay the 5th of the month every month), not a problem because I can time the payment to my convenience.
If their service on Verizon is anything like their service on T Mobile, my suggestion is to steer clear. They charge for unanswered incoming calls, they charge for calling your voicemail, they charge for calling their 888-373-9887 number to check your balance or customer service. Their 611 number which is supposed to be the customer service number does nothing but play ‘on hold’ music without ever connecting. At least they don’t charge for that. I’ve written three emails to them an have yet to receive a response.
I called their support number 1-310-707-0000, found here, https://speedtalkmobile.com/ when this article was published on Friday and was speaking to someone within 30s of dialing the number. That could be a time when support lines are not so busy though, I don’t know. When did you use the service?
I use the service in San Bernardino, Ca. I’ve never used the number you listed to contact them. It looks to be from the Los Angeles Ca. area code. They also list 1-866-701-5577 and 611 as well as the number in my previous post as customer support/service numbers. I didn’t have a problem with calling them except for the fact that they charge for contacting customer service. What I’m saying is that they don’t seem to respond to messages sent through their support page.
I wanted to add that they seem to have stopped updating call data records as the latest record that shows on my account is from 3/21/2017. It just seems as if their website and overall system in general is not yet fully functional. Calls, messaging, and data seem to work okay, however.
