How GoSmart Mobile Plans Work
GoSmart Mobile was founded in 2012 by T-Mobile. It was later sold off and is now one of several prepaid wireless brands that is currently owned by TracFone. Service is still provided by the T-Mobile network.
One thing unique about this MVNO is that it does not offer data at 4G LTE data speeds. Speeds are limited to 3G with the exception of Facebook. Facebook gets unlimited LTE data access. GoSmart Mobile is said to consider HSPA+ as 3G data speeds.
Supported Phones And BYOD Devices
GoSmart Mobile does not sell any phones. If you want service with the company you will have to bring your own device (BYOD). Any out of contract T-Mobile compatible device will work. Most AT&T devices are also compatible as long as they are out of contract, paid off in full and not reported lost or stolen. Universally unlocked phones from manufacturer’s such as Motorola and Samsung are also compatible.
Where To Buy Service Plans And SIM Cards
SIM cards and plans are sold primarily through the GoSmart Mobile website although some can also be found on Amazon.
