Mint Mobile's starter kit allows customers to test drive the service for 7 days. During that time span, subscribers are alloted 100 minutes, 100 text messages and 100 MB of data. Customers who find that the service isn't for them can now request a refund at the end of their trial. Those who want to continue with their subscription can still apply the cost of the starter kit to the plan of their choice.
As always, a Mint Mobile starter kit comes with two different SIM cards. Prospective customers can use one SIM card to test the service out without porting their number over. If the customer is happy with their service, they can then use the second SIM card to port their number over.
