Cricket Wireless Selling The Samsung Galaxy S8 For Just $349.99 To New Customers

Cricket Wireless has just launched another promotion. Those who switch to the ATT owned MVNO can now get a brand new Samsung Galaxy S8 for 50% off, or $349.99.  Current customers get left out in the cold, as the same phone will cost them $699.99 to upgrade to plus an additional $25 upgrade fee.  Ouch!  New customers may want to get this phone to pair with Cricket's switcher unlimited 2 data plan which includes unlimited talk, text and data for $40/month.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Promotional Pricing And Fine Print

This special offer will be available until 3/29/18.  It requires a port in and activation of a qualifying service plan.  Those porting in from AT&T are excluded from the promotional pricing. Qualifying plans include the following:

1. $30/month - unlimited everything, with the first 2GB of data at high speeds
2. $40/month ($35 with auto pay billing) - unlimited everything, with the first 5GB of data at high speeds
3. $40/month for 12 months (regular price $55)- unlimited 2 data plan for new customers only - includes unlimited talk, text and data.  Data speeds limited to 3 Mbps and video streaming 1.5 Mbps or about a resolution of 480p.  Once more than 22GB of data has been consumed in a month, speeds may be temporarily slowed down during times of heavy network traffic. Except where noted, all of Cricket Wireless's plans include data that is limited to a maximum download speed of 8 Mbps with a 4G LTE device, or 4 Mbps using HSPA+.  Upload speeds are not throttled.

If you purchase the phone, it must be used with Cricket Wireless for at least 6 months before it can be unlocked.  Purchasing the device in store and activating it will cost an additional $25.  Purchasing and activating online will save you that fee.  Online purchases come with free next day business shipping.
