Cricket Wireless today announced the launch of a loyalty program it is calling Cricket Rewards.  Cricket claims it is the only program of its kind in the no annual contract space.

With Cricket Rewards, customers can earn redeemable points by doing things with their phone such as checking the weather or tracking their fitness.  Just registering a Cricket account or enabling autopay also earn reward points.

The rewards program is powered by SessionM's Mobile Marketing Cloud and mPLUS Rewards.  Customers may access the Rewards program via Cricketwireless.com, through the Cricket Rewards app or the MyCricket app.

Cricket Rewards can be redeemed for a variety of items such as gift cards at AMC Movie theaters, Amazon, GameStop, Target and more.  Rewards can also be used to enter sweepstakes and make charitable donations.

For the holidays Cricket is adding holiday bonuses such as:

  1. Through a partnership with AMC Movie Theaters consumers will be able to earn more points by checking in when they see a movie.
  2. A new $25,000 Selfie Sweepstakes is being offered where customers who enter get a chance to win not only win the grand prize, but also other items and earn more rewards points just for entering.
