Xfinity Mobile is currently running a small number of deals. One offer is for a free Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). Other limited-time offers include up to $800 off a 5G iPhone with a trade-in or $500 without the need for a trade-in. Of course, every offer has some fine print, and "free" is never really "free" so let's have a look at that fine print.
Free Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 Offer Details & Fine Print
In order to claim a "free" Moto G Stylus 5G, customers will have to first purchase the phone on a device payment plan. Customers will then have to activate a new line of service with Xfinity Mobile AND transfer their number in from another carrier within 30 days of purchasing the phone. Qualifying customers will then get a free phone by way of monthly device credits that are spread out over 24 months. If at any time a subscriber has their account canceled either voluntarily or involuntarily, or if they try and speed up their device payments by paying more than what's needed they will forfeit any remaining monthly credits that they have. The Moto G Stylus 5G has a regular price of $369.99 or $15.41/month with financing.
This deal is scheduled to be available at least until 4/6/23.
Up To $800 Off iPhone Discounts Explained
The up to $800 off an iPhone offer applies to the iPhone 14 series of devices and requires a trade-in. Customers can also elect to get an iPhone 13, 13 mini, or iPhone 12 for free with a trade-in.
The iPhone trade-in deals come with most of the same fine print that is associated with the free Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G offer described above with a few exceptions. One is that customers do not need to port in a number to get the deals. The other is that you must trade-in your device within 21 days of receiving your new iPhone. Trade-in credits will be applied to your account over the course of 24 months. So you will need to keep your line active with Xfinity Mobile for the entire 24 months in order to claim the full value of your trade-in.
If you don't have a device to trade-in, you can still save $500 off select iPhones. Terms for $500 off an iPhone are exactly the same as they are for the free Moto G Stylus 5G offer. iPhones eligible for a $500 discount by way of 24 monthly device credits include the following:
- iPhone 12 - price before discount $629.99
- iPhone 13 mini - before discount $629.99
- iPhone 13 - before discount $729.99
- iPhone 14 - before discount $829.99
- iPhone 14 Plus - before discount $929.99
- iPhone 14 Pro - before discount $999.99
- iPhone 14 Pro Max - before discount $1099.99
Both iPhone offers are scheduled to be available at least until 4/17/23.
Android fans have the same deals available to them as iPhone customers get but for Samsung Galaxy devices. Flagship Samsung Galaxy phones are up to $800 off with a trade-in. Samsung Galaxy S23 devices are $500 off without trade-in. The Samsung deals end on 3/31.
