Verizon Wireless Hurricane Matthew ReliefThrough October 11th, Verizon Wireless is offering unlimited talk, text, and data to subscribers in Florida, Georgia, and North and South Carolina that have been impacted by Hurricane Matthew.  Customers may still receive automated alert notifications that they are nearing their data plan limits during this time period, although they need not worry.

Verizon Wireless customers who would like to help out with the Hurricane relief efforts can donate $10 via their mobile phone by texting to the number 80100 with the word "MATTHEW".  Subscribers will then be sent a text message asking them to confirm that they want to make the $10 donation.

Our customers expect an industry-leading network performance, especially when severe weather hits,” said Roger Tang – president, South East Market for Verizon Wireless. “Thanks to the extensive preparations of our network team, our network has remained strong in the wake of this storm. That strength, when coupled with this offer, means that our customers can stay connected when it matters most.”

If you are not sure if you qualify for this temporary disaster relief or have other questions, you can call Verizon at 1.800.806.3607.
