US Mobile's push to add more subscribers continues with its most aggressive promo to date. Dubbed the "Mid-Winter Blowout", the promo features their Unlimited Starter annual plan for $119 (an average cost of $9.92/month) and their Unlimited Premium plan for $149 (an average cost of $12.42/month). Taxes and fees are included.
The promo codes WINTER119, and WINTER149 are required at checkout to claim each offer, respectively. US Mobile operates on all three major networks in the USA, but this deal is exclusive to their Dark Star network, the name US Mobile uses for AT&T's network. The promotion is scheduled to be available at least until January 31, 2026.
This offer is available to new lines of service with number port only. Customers previously on US Mobile in the past 30 days are not eligible for the offer. Lines must be activated within 30 days of plan purchase. After 12 months, unless canceled, plans will automatically renew at their regular annual plan rates of $270 for Unlimited Starter and $390 for Unlimited Premium.
US Mobile is unique in that it allows customers to internally port their number between the different carrier networks it supports without forfeiting their current plan, a feature it calls teleporting. Normally, this flexibility is a major advantage for customers who want to switch networks without changing plans. However, with this particular promotion, customers must remain on the Dark Star network for the full 12-month term. Switching networks during the annual plan period will forfeit the promotional discount, and the payment method on file will automatically be charged the difference between the discounted price paid and the regular plan price.
The offer can be transferred or gifted to someone. A maximum of three discounted plans are allowed per account.
Choose Your Plan Wisely
If you are interested in either plan, be sure you choose wisely. If you absolutely need to save some money then get the Unlimited Starter plan, it's the cheapest unlimited plan offer currently available on AT&T's network. However, for the extra $2.50/month the upgrade to Unlimited Premium is well worth it. The Premium plan includes unlimited priority data which will give you faster data speeds when the network is busy compared to customers on the Starter plan. In certain situations this could equate to having data that is usable to data that is barely usable.
Below is a table comparing the two plans so you can see how they differ and what best fits your needs.
| Unlimited Starter | Unlimited Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $9.92/mo ($119 due at signup) | $12.42/mo ($149 due at signup) |
| Priority data | None | Unlimited |
| Hotspot | 20GB | Unlimited - 100GB full speed, 100GB 8Mbps, unlimited 600Kbps |
| Domestic roaming | 10GB | 10GB |
| Calls & Texts to international #'s | Yes | Yes |
| International roaming | 1GB | 20GB |
Things to Be Aware Of
Although both plans include unlimited high-speed data, US Mobile enforces an acceptable use policy that customers should be aware of. Activity that US Mobile deems excessive, such as repeatedly running speed tests throughout the day, could result in data restrictions or termination of service. While the company does not clearly define what qualifies as excessive, speed tests can consume significant amounts of data.
Additionally, customers attempting to use their hotspot as a home internet replacement or maintaining a continuous high-usage data connection may also find themselves in violation of the policy.
By default, video streaming may be limited to SD quality. However, customers can enable a feature called Data Waster mode at no additional cost. This allows HD video streaming on the Unlimited Starter plan and up to 4K video streaming on the Unlimited Premium plan.
Editor's Take
Without question, these are currently the best unlimited plan deals available right now. You can see for yourself by using BestMVNOs unlimited plan tracker, or phone plan deals tracker. There simply are not any cheaper unlimited plans on the market that offer this level of features at these price points.
The next closest deal currently available comes from Mint Mobile on T-Mobile’s network, where an unlimited annual plan averages $15 per month, with taxes and fees charged separately.
US Mobile is an MVNO backed by venture capital. In 2021, Volition Capital invested $11.5 million in the brand and less than a year later, US Mobile announced it had received an additional $11 million in funding. This financial backing may help explain how US Mobile is able to offer unlimited plans at such deep discounts, as these plans are likely not being sold at a profit.
Historically, MVNOs have been unable to sell truly unlimited data plans because leasing network access from major carriers makes doing so uneconomical. AT&T, however, appears to have become more flexible with its MVNO partners. A small number of MVNOs on the network are now able to offer unlimited high-speed data plans. In November 2025, BestMVNO reported that Red Pocket Mobile launched an unlimited plan on AT&T’s network priced at $30 per month. Earlier in the year, BestMVNO also reported that Klarna was launching a truly unlimited 5G data plan on the network for $40 per month.
