Best Buy is currently offering a nice discount on Unreal Mobile's multi-month plans.  Shoppers can get 20% off on the purchase of one of three available plans.  Perhaps the best deal is a 3-month unlimited talk, text, and data plan where the first 5GB of data each month is at 4G LTE data speeds.  The plan is on sale for $47.99 or $16/month.  As a bonus, Best Buy is also offering a free 3-month subscription to SiriusXM radio streaming service with the purchase of virtually any prepaid SIM card including Unreal Mobile SIMs and plans.

Available Discounted Unreal Mobile Plans

The 3 available discounted multi-month plans all include unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data at 4G LTE data speeds.  The data allotments shown below are how much high-speed data you get to use each month.  All plans are for 3 months of service.

  • 1GB of 4G LTE data, on sale for $15.99 ($5.33/month), regularly priced at $19.99
  • 2GB of 4G LTE data, on sale for $23.99 ($8/month), regularly priced at $29.99
  • 5GB of 4G LTE data, on sale for $47.99 ($16/month), regularly priced at $59.99

The plans are all designed for use on Unreal Mobile's GSM network partner which is AT&T. That means you must have a phone compatible with the AT&T network if you want to use it with Unreal Mobile.  Unlocked phones that are compatible with the T-Mobile network will also work. Many unlocked Verizon and Sprint compatible phones will also work.

If you are considering taking advantage of this offer there are a few things you may want to know.  When I recently reviewed Unreal Mobile, it took them nearly 3 months to successfully port my number in.  So be aware, porting your number in may take significantly longer than what you would normally expect. Also note that voice service is provided by way of VoIP, not over a traditional cellular network.  That means you have to use the Unreal Mobile app to place phone calls and send text messages.  Voice call quality was not always reliable for me during my review.  However, if you are just looking for cheap data on the AT&T network, or don't mind using another VoIP service such as Google Voice for phone calls, Unreal Mobile might just suit your needs.
