Another holiday is approaching and that means Tello Mobile has a new phone plan sale to celebrate it. Tello is marketing the promo as being a SALE-A-Bration. New subscribers can now get any plan for just $4. The offer is scheduled to be available until July 6th.
Phone Plan Options And Offer Fine Print
The offer really doesn't have any particular fine print other than it is for new customers or lines of service only. The discount is only available for the subscriber's first month of service. After that, regular rates are applied.
Tello allows the management of multiple lines under one account holder but there are no family plan discounts available. However, current customers that wish to add new lines of service to their accounts can take advantage of the $4 for any plan promo for each line that they add. Tello allows subscribers to add an unlimited number of lines to their accounts.
Tello Mobile does offer dozens of phone plan options. The best plan to take advantage of this offer would be their $39 plan. It includes unlimited talk, text, and data with the first 25GB of data each month at high-speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds. The plan also includes unlimited calling to Canada, Mexico, China, and Romania. Those that don't actually need that much data or unlimited calling can simply switch to another plan at the end of their first month of service. Some other Tello plan options subscribers may want to consider after their first month of service include the following with the plans regular rates highlighted:
- $6/month - 100 minutes, 500MB of 4G LTE data
- $10/month - 1GB of 4G LTE data
- $14/month - 2GB of 4G LTE data
- $19/month - 4GB of 4G LTE data
- $20/month - data-only plan with 6GB of 4G LTE data
- $24/month - 6GB of 4G LTE data
- $29/month - 8GB of 4G LTE data
Unless specified otherwise, the plans just described all include unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data at high-speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds or about 64Kbps. The plans also include calling to Canada, Mexico, China, and Romania at no extra charge.
