RingPlus is offering special free upgrade plans for members who would like to upgrade their current plans. The upgrade plans will be available from Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 5 PM PST until Friday May 6th at 5 PM PST. Some of the plans will only be available for Member+ subscribers, while others are open to all.
Plan Open To All Members
Cool Breeze Upgrade Free Plan
The cool Breeze Upgrade Free plan is open to all members and includes 2500 minutes, 2500 texts, and 2500 MB of 4G LTE data. There is a one time upgrade fee of $25 for those who want to upgrade, and the automatic top up for this plan is $30. Tethering is available as an add on for $12.99/month.
Like with all RingPlus plans, the top up is used to cover any overages you may incur, and must be paid when you first signup for service, and again any time after if your account balance ever reaches $0.
Overages with this plan are priced at 5¢ per unit of talk, text and MB of data. MMS picture messages are priced at 5¢ each to send and receive as well.
Member+ Exclusive Upgrade Plans
Blissful Upgrade Free Plan
The Blissful Upgrade Free Plan includes 5000 minutes, 5000 texts, and 5000 MB of 4G LTE data. A one time upgrade fee of $15 is required to switch to this plan. Tethering is available for $9.99/month.
The automatic top up fee for this plan is $30.
Overages with this plan are priced at 5¢ per unit of talk, text and MB of data. MMS picture messages are priced at 5¢ each to send and receive as well.
Infinity Upgrade Free Plan
The Infinity Upgrade Free Plan includes unlimited talk, text and data with the first 500 MB of data at 4G LTE speeds. Throttled data speeds are at 64 kbps.
There is no upgrade fee required for this plan, and tethering is included, but it can only be used with the 4G LTE data.
A $10 automatic top up is required to cover the costs of sending MMS picture messages which are priced at 4¢ each to send and receive.
Infinity Upgrade Free Plan Add-Ons
1) 100 MB of additional 4G LTE data for $1.49/mo with auto-renew.
2) 1,000 MB of additional 4G LTE data for $14.99/mo with auto-renew.
3) 2,000 MB of additional 4G LTE data for $27.99/mo with auto-renew.
