Republic Wireless is famous for offering prepaid phone service on the Sprint network using hybrid calling, meaning whenever wi-fi is available the phone will automatically connect to it for phone calls and texts, and when it's unavailable it will seamlessly fall back onto the Sprint 4G LTE or 3G network depending on what plan you have and what's available in your area. This unique hybrid calling feature has lead BestMVNO to recently rate Republic Wireless to be one of the 10 best and most unique MVNO's and prepaid providers around. Republic Wireless has plans ranging in price from $5 for basic service that only includes use over wi-fi to $40 for unlimited talk and text and 5 GB of LTE data.
