Pure Talk has quietly started selling business plans. A representative from Pure Talk confirmed to BestMVNO that the plans were launched in late December. The business plans start at $30/month for unlimited everything with the first 10GB of data available each month at high-speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds. This is in contrast to Pure Talk's $30/month consumer plan which only includes 6GB of high-speed data before throttling.
The rest of Pure Talk's business phone plans are priced as follows:
- $30/month - 10GB high-speed data
- $45/month - 25GB high-speed data
- $60/month - 40GB high-speed data
They all come with unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data available at high-speeds before throttling to 128Kbps. Taxes and fees do cost extra.
There's also a hotspot/tablet data only plan available:
- $30/month - includes 12GB of high-speed data
In order to subscribe to any of the plans, customers must have at least 4-lines of service. Potential customers interested in the plans must fill out an inquiry form on the Pure Talk website. The company says each business subscribed to the plans will have a dedicated account manager. Business plan customers have access to a "budget assurance tool" which seems to be designed to help customers manage their high-speed data.
Pure Talk says it does not have a data prioritization policy and that data speeds will not slow during times of network congestion. The company highlights that this is "unlike many of our competitors." WiFi calling is supported on most Apple devices and most newer Android phones. Mobile hotspot is also supported and is automatically turned on for iPhone users. Some carrier-branded Android phones may have the feature blocked. Android users will need to contact their account manager to have the feature turned on. Videos stream in HD quality at a resolution of 1080p.
Mobile phones are also available for purchase but business customers will also need to fill out a form in order to purchase them. Pure Talk sells mostly iPhones with both new and old models available. A handful of Samsung Galaxy devices and Nokia phones are also stocked.
