Mint SIM has just relaunched itself as Mint Mobile.  The change was officially made Tuesday afternoon on May 1st.

The MVNO that runs on T-Mobile's network said that the rebranding was done to help make it easier for the public to better understand what the company has to offer.  I suppose having the word SIM as part of your brand name suggests that you are in the business of selling SIM cards. So now we have Mint Mobile to help clarify that the company sells phone plans.

Mint Mobile at the moment is not offering any special pricing or promotions to market its name change. Multi Month plans continue to be priced as follows:

Mint Mobile Mult-Month Phone Plans

2GB Multi-Month Plans

  • 3 months new customer trial offer - introductory offer of $15/month, $45 due up front.  Regular pricing is $23/month.
  • 6 month pricing - $18/month with $108 due up front.
  • 12 month pricing - $15/month with $180 due up front
