Metro-By-T-Mobile is running a promotion for bring your own phone subscribers.  Those who have an eligible device to bring over to the network will receive a $100 virtual Visa prepaid card as a Black Friday holiday offer only.  Metro had been offering customers who bring their own device to the network a $50 virtual Visa prepaid card.  The extra $50 bonus offer will be available until 12/3/2019. (Update: 1/6/2020 - The $50 virtual Visa prepaid card online exclusive offer is still available and no longer has an end date listed.)

Metro's Bring Your Own Phone Get $100 Offer Fine Print

This offer is available online only and will only be available for a limited time.  Metro-By-T-Mobile has not specified an exact end date for the promotion.  Customers who want to take advantage of this offer must purchase a Metro-By-T-Mobile SIM card online (currently listed at $10) and activate a new line of service using that SIM card.  After the subscriber has paid for their 2nd month of service and has subscribed to the network for 45 days, Metro-By-T-Mobile will send the subscriber a text message containing a link they can use to redeem the offer.  The offer must be claimed within 30 days of receiving the link.

Most phones intended for use in the USA that are compatible with the T-Mobile network and/or have been unlocked should also be compatible with Metro-By-T-Mobile.  Metro-By-T-Mobile has a device ID checker that you can use to confirm if your phone is compatible with the network.
