Lycamobile is running a promotion for new customers. New customers who signup for their $50 "unlimited" plan will receive a $10/month discount for their first three months of service. That lowers the price to $40/month. Autopay at signup is required to get the deal. After 3-months is up, the plan price increases to $45/month with autopay enabled or $50 with it disabled.
Lycamobile's $50 unlimited plan isn't actually truly unlimited. It comes with unlimited talk and text and 40GB of data at up to 4G LTE/5G data speeds. After the high-speed data allotment is consumed, data speeds are throttled to 2G for the rest of the billing cycle. The plan also includes unlimited talk and text to over 75 countries and 500 free minutes to Bangladesh. This is an online-only offer. Lycamobile is an MVNO of T-Mobile.
$39 15GB Plan Discount
The $50 plan isn't the only plan available at a discount from Lycamobile. Their $39 plan has also been discounted and through 4/30/21 it is available to new customers for $35/month with autopay. Customers can keep the plan and discount for as long as they'd like as long as they keep autopay billing enabled. Their $39 plan includes unlimited talk and text and 15GB of data at up to 4G LTE/5G data speeds before throttling to 2G data speeds. It also includes unlimited talk and text to over 75 countries and a $10 bonus international calling credit.
