Good2Go Mobile had long run a double data offer that it first started in December of 2019. All new customers from that time frame onward were granted double data with their plans. The initial promotion was designed to give new customers double data for their first 3-months of service. However, Good2Go Mobile kept extending out the promotional time frame that ultimately led to customers getting double data indefinitely.

I subscribed to Good2Go Mobile quite some time ago and gave a review of my experience with them last year. Since that review, I've continued to maintain service with them. For the entire time I've been subscribed I have had double data. If you are also a subscriber to Good2Go Mobile you should have recently received an email from the provider. Good2Go Mobile sent me an email a few days ago to notify me that "because you are awesome, double data is now permanent at no additional charge." I was also told I could upgrade my original plan to get triple data. When I went to check that out, I was shown an offer that would cost me an additional $10/month.

The plan I had been subscribed to was Good2Go's $25/month plan or $20 with autopay billing enabled. Originally the plan came with 3GB of monthly high-speed data before throttling to 2G data speeds. Through the double data offer, I was getting 6GB of data a month. With the triple data upgrade offer, I could get 9GB for $30/month. Good2Go Mobile says that the triple data offer costs vary by plan and the cheapest upgrade option is $5/month. Current customers looking to take advantage of their triple data offer have until 2/28/21 to do so.

Good2Go Mobile's Phone Plans Have Been Updated

In addition to current customers getting their double data offers made permanent, Good2Go Mobile has also recently updated its wireless plans. Most plans have been improved, but one has actually been downgraded. Here's what has changed. The prices shown are with autopay billing enabled. Without autopay billing, pricing is $5/month higher.

  • $15/month - 1GB high-speed data, no change
  • $20/month - 2GB high-speed data, previously 3GB
  • $30/month - 6GB high-speed data, previously 5GB
  • $35/month - 10GB highs-speed data, previously priced at $40
  • $45/month - New plan with 25GB high-speed data

All plans include unlimited talk, text, and data with the specified amount of data available at high-speeds each month before throttling to 2G data speeds. New customers can get free SIM cards with free shipping. WiFi calling is supported. Good2Go Mobile does not officially support mobile hotspot, however, under the FAQs sections of their website, they say as of last month they've been working on a solution to support hotspot with details coming soon. The FAQs also state that they will announce an update later this month in regards to 5G network availability.

Good2Go Mobile primarily runs on the AT&T network. Those with an iPhone may not have working MMS if it is used on that network. Good2Go Mobile says that iPhone customers that don't have working MMS  can contact customer support to get a new SIM for T-Mobile based service and working MMS.
