Red Pocket Mobile has been in business for years, but keep in mind before you make a long term commitment to one of their well priced plans that MVNO's sometimes disappear in the blink of an eye. Also thanks to Apple, if you own an iPhone, MMS will not work properly on Red Pocket's GSMA (AT&T) network plans without a jailbreak.
My $60/360 days Red Pocket plan doesn’t expire until December; would it be possible to buy a Red Pocket flash sale plan and wait to activate it until the old plan is about to expire? If that were possible, the $179 1,000/unlimited/1Gb per month annual plan would be the least expensive upgrade to my current service. (The $99/year plan doesn’t count for me, because I need more data much more than I need unlimited talk & text buckets.)
