Cricket Wireless Offering Double Data At Walmart, Get 10GB Of Data For $35/Month

Cricket Wireless has launched a double your data promo exclusively at Walmart. Those who subscribe to Cricket Wireless's $40 plan that is $35 with AutoPay billing enabled, will get 10GB of LTE data a month for 1 year.  The plan normally comes with 5GB of LTE data and it does include unlimited talk and text.  Taxes and fees are included in the price.  Mobile hotspot is prohibited.  Download speeds are limited to a maximum of 8 Mbps.

As usual with Walmart, there aren't any other details given about the offer, other than what is shown on Walmart's splash page highlighting the deal.  You'll probably have to pick up the plan in store to get the promotional data.  Last time Cricket Wireless ran a promo at Walmart, the same offer was later spotted at Target. So it's possible we'll see the same thing happen here.

Target does have its own offer currently running with Cricket Wireless, but it's not as good as what Walmart is showcasing. Target is offering a free $20 gift card with any Cricket smartphone purchase and activation.  It is an in-store only offer as well.

Best Buy also has a promo running, but it is also inferior to Walmart's.  Customer's who pick up a Cricket Wireless SIM card and unlocked phone will save $50 on their purchase.
