Cricket Wireless announced some new cell phone deals today that are available immediately. The AT&T owned MVNO is offering the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime for $29.99 and the LG G stylo for $49.99. A quick search on eBay and Amazon shows that both phones currently sell for over $100 at each store, so it seems like a pretty good deal here. Cricket is also offering select other 4G LTE smartphones for free after a mail-in rebate Cricket Visa Promotion Card. The offer is available to those who port over to Cricket and activate a new smartphone plan.
The free Cricket phones being offered as part of this promotion include the following phones:
ZTE Overture™ 2 | FREE after $40 mail-in rebate Cricket Visa Promotion Card (pre-rebate price $39.99) |
LG Risio™ | FREE after $30 mail-in rebate Cricket Visa Promotion card (pre-rebate price $29.99) |

The offers are good until 1/7/16 or while supplies last. Cricket says you can expect about an 8 week lead time on your mail-in rebate.
Black Friday
Cricket is also offering a $100 Cricket Shopping Card for customers who switch to Cricket between November 20th and December 6th. The shopping card can only be used towards your monthly service payment, for a new smartphone or accessories at participating Cricket stores or cricketwireless.com. This Black Friday special can be combined with other offers, so customers can also get the mail in rebate Cricket Visa Promotion Card that comes with the purchase of the select phones listed in this article.
