Boost Mobile has launched a new offer and what's particularly interesting about it is that it targets both new and existing customers. Subscribers who purchase a 5G phone compatible valued at $299 or higher with Boost Mobile’s native network will receive a free year of service on their $25 Unlimited plan. Customers on or wishing to upgrade to Boost's $50 or $60 unlimited plans will receive $300 off their service for 12 months. No trade-ins are required to take advantage of this offer. This is an online-only deal, it is not available through Boost Mobile dealers or national retail stores.
There are currently 7 phones available with this deal (sometimes the website shows 7 deals, sometimes 8, with the additional phone being an iPhone). Two of them are iPhones and five are from Samsung.
- iPhone 15 - $829.99 or $23.06/month

Why Boost Mobile Has Launched This Deal
I think Boost Mobile's press release provides a strong clue as to the real reasoning behind the deal launch. Here's an excerpt extracted from it with Boost Mobile's SVP of Consumer Products and Marketing, Sean Lee, quoted. Pay particular attention to the last sentence of the quote, emphasis mine.
"Boost Mobile is committed to delivering unmatched value to our customers. We're making it easier than ever for consumers to purchase the latest 5G devices by offering one full year of free service with no strings attached—no contracts or trade-in required. This offer is part of Boost Mobile's commitment to delivering options that fit any consumer's needs. We want everyone to have access to the latest 5G devices and blazing fast speeds on our nationwide 5G network." --Sean Lee, SVP of Consumer Products and Marketing
Boost Mobile operates as both an AT&T MVNO and a T-Mobile MVNO. They also have their own native 5G network. The sooner Boost Mobile can transition customers from the AT&T and T-Mobile networks onto its native network, the more they stand to benefit financially. So, this deal is likely aimed at moving customers to their native network, particularly in areas where it’s already operational while preparing to switch customers over as coverage expands.
