Best Buy is selling the Microsoft Lumia 640 GoPhone for $29.99 on Black Friday. Retail price for the phone is $79.99 although it can often be found for $59.99. The phone can be unlocked for use on T-Mobile or other GSM providers by following the AT&T Device unlocking guide.
Currently the phone comes with Windows phone 8.1 installed but Microsoft has promised that it will be upgraded for free to Windows phone 10 which is due to be released soon.
Other features of the phone include:
- 8GB internal storage expandable to 128GB with a microSD card which is recommended if you plan on taking a lot of photos. 1GB of RAM is on board.
- An 8.0 MP main camera with flash and a 0.9 MP selfie camera.
- 5" 1280x720 IPS display
- Snapdragon 400 1.2 GHz quad core processor
- 2500 mAh battery
Sounds good, hope others retailers do the same at that price, like Walmart do on that day.
