It seems the pricing wars continue to heat up among the carriers. First T-mobile announced it was offering more 4G LTE data, tethering, and unlimited international texting at no additional costs. Anybody on a simple choice plan will have their accounts updated automatically to the new service plans. Highlights include
-$50 Simple Choice plan now has 1GB LTE as opposed to 500mb
-You can now get a 3GB LTE data add on for $10 a month with tethering (previously 2.5GB)
-T-mobile is the first major service provider with unlimited international texting to over 120 countries
Shortly after T-mobiles announcement ATT decided to join in on the fun as well, offering 2GB of LTE data with unlimited talk, text and free international text messaging for $65. This is $15 cheaper for a single line mobile share value plan than before. This package also includes 50GB of cloud storage. For a limited time, all new and existing AT&T customers will receive a $100 bill credit for each new line of qualified service added.
With the Big 4 carriers lowering their prices trying to grab your dollars, one has to wonder if this will spill over to their respective MVNO's as well, or possibly put some of them out of business. Time will tell.
