Head on over to the Republic Wireless home page and you'll be greeted by a new announcement. The Motorola Moto E is headed to their network. As you can surmise, this is a low cost phone and now provides Republic Wireless with three phones and entry points for their service. They also currently offer the Moto X (2013 edition $299) and the Moto G ($149). I have to imagine the G eventually gets updated to the LTE version and the X will get updated to the 2014 edition. The Moto E to refresh though was released to other providers back in May and is 3G data only. It comes with a 4.3" screen, Android Kit Kat 4.4.4, 4GB of memory expandable by microSD, and a 5 MP camera.
Republic Wireless is a low cost prepaid provider operating on the Sprint Network with plans that range in price from $5 for unlimited text and talk on wi-fi only to $40 for unlimited talk, text and 5 GB LTE data.
