Red Pocket Mobile is currently running a plan sale through their eBay store. Customers can now get their 8GB annual plan for $210 or $17.50/month. Red Pocket advertises the list price on the plan as $365 and the sale as offering 42% off. BestMVNO does not believe that the plan ever sells for $365 but has regularly sold for $240 or an average cost of $20/month. So this sale looks to save you about $30 annually or $2.5/month vs its regular price.

Red Pocket's 8GB Annual Plan Details

Red Pocket's 8GB annual plan comes with unlimited everything. Customers get unlimited talk, text, and data each month but data speeds are reduced to 2G once more than 8GB has been consumed during a 30-day cycle. Subscribers that run out of high-speed data during a 30-day cycle can add an additional 100MB for $2 or 250MB for $5.

The plan can be used on the customer's choice of the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon networks. It's also available as a renewal option for current customers. Red Pocket Mobile considers an annual plan to be 360 days of service.

The plan also includes international calling, and texting, and allows for mobile hotspot, however, features vary by network. All networks include international calling. If used on AT&T or T-Mobile, international texting is free, but costs 20¢ per SMS if used on Verizon. Hotspot is supported on all networks but it is device dependent. If used on Verizon, hotspot is only supported on iOS devices. If used on AT&T or T-Mobile, hotspot is supported on both Android and iOS devices.

This sale is scheduled to last until 5/6. You can grab the plan from Red Pocket via their eBay store here. Customers who want service on AT&T and need a little more data can get an annual plan with 10GB of monthly high-speed data for $270 or $22.50/month directly through the Red Pocket website.
