How Page Plus Cellular Plans Work
Page Plus Cellular was founded in 1993. The company initially went into business as a provider of pagers.
In the 2000’s Page Plus Cellular grew to become a provider of cellular service on Verizon’s network. By 2013 the brand had accumulated 1.4 million subscribers before getting acquired by TracFone that same year.
Supported Phones And BYOD Devices
Phones that are compatible with Verizon Wireless will also work on Page Plus Cellular, provided that they are LTE capable, out of contract, and paid off in full.
Universally unlocked phones from Motorola and many from Samsung will also work.
Page Plus Cellular does sell some phones through its website, possibly from a third party. Pricing does not seem to be better than what is available elsewhere.
Where To Buy Service Plans And SIM Cards
Page Plus Cellular phone service is sold in stores through a network of nationwide independent dealers. The service is sold online through the Page Plus Website and through some dealers online via Callingmart, Amazon and eBay.

I use Page Plus , and for the little I use my cellphone, the value is unbeatable!!! I bought a Sonim Verizon compatible phone from an eBay seller and I had no trouble putting a Page Plus SIM card in it to get service! I love my Sonim XP3800 (and XP5700, I have both). Those phones are bullet proof, and the batteries hold a charge for a whole week!
For a “back-up” phone – – service through Page Plus Cellular is absolutely the lowest cost option I have found. It costs me a little more than $30 (thirty dollars) PER YEAR. I must buy or bring a phone. Service is through Verizon towers. I must go through the hassle of online payment every 4 months. Unused time ($ balance) ROLLS OVER – – if I pay before 120 days go by. Talk time costs $0.06 per minute. I have used this service for about 8 years. IT IS A BARGAIN ! !
Amen Brother! I love Page Plus too! With providers like Page plus, NOBODY needs government paid Obama phones!
Lost $530 of accumulated minutes due to missinformation. They disconnecred my phone with no notice which had $530 and will not refund or restore my phone???
They must be using offshore people as every time I talk to them, I can barely understand them.
Ask for a supervisor that speaks English. No chance.
I am moving.
Same here!! C/S no help at all. My cell barely receives since 2023 :o(
Same here. From what I read that Pageplus will be closing at the end of 2024. Customer service is really dismal.
First-you can do just about everything on the Page Plus website! And the few times I called their customer service, I had no problems!
