Boss Revolution Mobile was launched in late 2019 by Boss Revolution, an IDT Telecom, INC subsidiary. IDT was founded in 1990 and is based out of Newark, New Jersey.
Boss Revolution has been in business since 2008 and provides stand-alone international calling cards to customers and money transfer services. Boss Revolution Mobile on the other hand, provides wireless phone service in the USA with cellular access initially provided on the Sprint network. In the second quarter of 2021, Boss Revolution officially rebranded to Boss Wireless and converted over to be an MVNO of T-Mobile.
Boss Wireless offers nationwide unlimited calling plans that also come with free international calling to over 65 countries. The company states that service:
- Requires no contracts or credit checks

Well, as Roxette once said, “It must have been love, but it’s over now.” They were one of the best, as they were one of the first to include all their taxes and fees in all pricing plans. Our service was remarkably reliable, and the price was reasonable. I guess they just couldn’t get enough customers or something. It was a good ride, but it’s the end of the line. Fortunately, their inclusive pricing started a trend, so we have several options we didn’t have when we started service with Boss Wireless. Guess it’s time to look at those options so that they don’t lose our numbers.
My family has been with Boss Wireless for almost 10 months now. The service and support have been amazing, and we especially love the fact that all fees are included in the prices, so the plan price we see is exactly down to the penny the plan price we pay. They have no multiple line discount, and every number is its own account, but that seems good for us, as the prices are relatively low, and we each can have exactly the plan we need and change it at any time. We don’t really have a need for a multiple line discount in any case, as we only have three people who have plans with Boss Wireless, and although two of us would benefit from our lines being on a single bill, the 3rd person wants to manage a separate line and account. Boss Wireless also discounts every 6th month by the amount of the lowest plan purchased during the previous 5 months, so if we do keep the same plan for 5 months, the 6th month costs nothing, which lowers the price even further overall. So far our only problems have been related to a glitch that was disabling conditional forwarding to my alternate visual voicemail service that I prefer to use. It was happening initially once a month, but now has only happened once in the past 6 months. That said, I called their customer service line at 6 in the evening on Christmas day of all things, and they had the problem fixed within 10 minutes of ending my call. Every time the glitch happened before this, customer service fixed the issue within minutes to a couple of hours at most, so they’re definitely on top of their game when it comes to support. I should also note that I have never had to wait on hold more than a minute to talk to a real human support agent on the phone. There is no computerized menus or messages other than the opening greeting that wants me to press 1 for English and 2 for Spanish and then tells me that my call is monitored or recorded for quality and training, then next thing I know, a real human is on the line, and is usually able to resolve my problem immediately, though problems really are quite rare. The only other problem I have ever seen is an address failure with wifi calling that seems to happen fairly frequently on one of my phones. It tells me I don’t have an address on file, even though I do. This does seem to be an incorrect error message though, as wifi calling has always worked as expected on all the phones we have used with it, so I didn’t ever call support for that issue. Overall though, my family has had very few problems with Boss Wireless service, and although there seems to be a lack of information about the Boss Wireless part of Boss Revolution and IDT Domestic Telecom except here and on their own website, I would highly recommend their services, and feel like more people deserve to know that these guys exist. From our experience, they really rock!
