Last month, Lycamobile released some pretty aggressive promos offering new lines significant multi-month discounts on a few plans. This month, the T-Mobile MVNO has fine-tuned its promos and added a new one kicking up the aggression level.
New lines can save 70% on Lycamobile's $33 plan and get it for just $10/month for three months when they signup with auto-renew. The plan includes unlimited everything with the first 12GB of data available at up to 5G data speeds each month before throttling to 2G data speeds. It also includes unlimited talk and text to over 75 countries and is mobile hotspot capable. Customers must keep auto-renew activated on their accounts or they will lose the promotional discounts.
No end date for this offer has been specified.
Get 2GB For $5/Month
Last month, Lycamobile was offering its $19/month plan with 2GB of high-speed data for 50% off or $9.50/month for up to 6 months. For October, the promo has been improved even further. New lines can now get the plan for just $5/month for 6 months when they enable auto-renew at signup.
Subscribers must stay enrolled in auto-renew to keep the promotional pricing. This offer is set to expire on 10/31/2022. (Update: offer extended until at least 11/30/22).
Lycamobile also continues to run its two "unlimited" plans at 50% off for up to 12 months for new lines with auto-renew enabled. That means subscribers can get the $49/month plan with 60GB of high-speed data for $24.50/month. The $59 plan with 60GB of high-speed data is available for $29.50/month.
The $49 plan offers users 200 minutes, and 200 texts of domestic roaming and talk and text to over 75 countries. The $59 plan does not include domestic roaming but it does add a $5 international calling credit and more international bonus calling minutes over the $49 plan. Neither unlimited plan allows for hotspot usage.
Taxes and fees that include a 5% regulatory recovery fee charge are extra with all plans.
