in the bahamas batelco has the concept of an account. you put money in the account. you buy a simm. they link the simm to the account. you purchase a chunk of prepaid data for the simm. the money for the data is deducted from the account. data lasts until used up or time expires. repeat. add money to the account as necessary.
this is what i’m looking for. the t-mobile prepaid data plans sound similar. am i correct?

No. This is a monthly plan, and there is a daily plan too. T-Mobile offers one PayGO plan and it would be incredibly expensive to use it for any meaningful amount of data the way that you are describing.
